Hello, and welcome to my first Subscriber-specific post! Where I want to talk about the current projects and any ideas I might be planning in the near future!

UPDATES!
For July, I was only able to partially finish the art trade for July, but had never received an answer from the only other artist participating so I had prioritized other work over it. I'll finish it up with simple shading at some point, so I can at least be in the clear for more trades. I also made an announcement about the recruiting process fix up that is hopefully much easier to get through now while keeping up the threshold against bots and malicious players. Unfortunately, I couldn't get Monthly Art Trades going for the month of August, mainly due to stresses between jobs and a lot of things to take care of between summer and fall. I'm also hoping to get more artists by next month to participate as I only had that one other artist and only a few others trying to figure out my maze of confusion that is my recruiting process on Discord.... sorry guys!
There was also an artist (I think owner of the Discord server) that made a raffle back in July and I WAS CHOSEN! They have made a beautiful piece of my persona and will soon be uploading it to the gallery.

I've also made a Pokémon art... logo? It's basically for a POGO group I made, AniGOers on the Campfire app by Niantic, and wanted to use something personalized, so here it is :D If you would like to join let me know and I will add you! That way we can invite each other to raids, especially those big ones that happen, like today's Rayquaza event.
Official Vtuber Info
I have been having this on the backburner for so long, mainly due to the need of more reliable income. However, now with more time in my hands, I have decided on revealing a little more information and back-story about this new "character" I'm working on for the past year.
The name of the Vtuber is Citlali Zyanya Villamochi, a butterfly themed enchantress that likes to illustrate and chitchat, but also very curious about this 'anime characters' and their world.
....honestly not too convinced about the short backstory but I think it will do for start. The initial outfit is based on a Mabinogi outfit, but I have various outfit designs for her. Most socials are under TaliZNya or TaliNya, but depending on availability may change to the closest handle possible. There is still some rigging to do, but for now I've only kept it at torso up. So many techniques to learn!
I will keep my regular channel with a Vtuber but will not be pursuing Vtuber-style entertainment content there. I had proposed to myself since last year I would only use the channel for personal work and interests, so I'm not too concerned about having a wider reach there. I'm also thinking of doing follower-only chat, since I've been getting a lot if unwanted solicitation...
Business With Friends
There's this thing that has been a reoccurring happenstance in my online friend group, where we passively talk about a hypothetical that if it gets enough interest, we make it happen. That's how we were able to meet each other in real life at AnimeExpo 2022! And we had planned and gone to 2023, where someone had mentioned about making an art booth for 2024 and the one with the king complex kind of went "...no, yeah, I'm serious about that". After trying to figure who is kinda doing what and what type of product, we are only working on artwork currently. I expected on the best artist in the guild to participate, but they just decided to take it slow and see what they would want to do. There was also someone different I didn't expect to participate participating as an artist, so in total right now with myself included we have 3 artist in total.
I'm not sure what kind of product I would make myself. All I can think of currently is doing something generic, similar to the "I <3 NY" kind of product or Genshin cat keychains. For sure I'll try something with Genshin or something Vtuber related like Vshojou, Tempus & Vanguard stuff.
Not too long ago, we made a Discord server to keep up to date with the things we talk about, agreements and such. That way it doesn't get flooded over by the other conversation we have (sometimes hundreds of messages by the end of one day 😅). Today we decided on a name out of a list, finally. Not one I wanted for sure, but it's a start!
WEBTOON or Tapas or Other
There was always a pressing desire to publicize at least one of the ideas I had for a comic since high school. My current go-to platform has been Webtoon since they have a program to get paid for making web comics to some degree, in which their platform is built for ease of readability on mobile devices (scrolling upwards through scenes rather than layout of panels in page format). However, there are also other platforms I want to look into like Tapas or ComicFury - to check about copyright, pay rates and all that.
There are three titles and a fan work in mind that I have since my high school days. One that was temporarily public called Sky Warriors, another one not public dubbed 7CA with only some character concepts, a slice-of-life 4 koma which I only have a list of ideas and some character concepts, and a Kingdom Hearts II crossover with Sky Warriors that only did some panels and concept sketches of.
The one I want to do is the one dubbed 7CA. I think it would be easier to work on without worrying too much about how serious and well-written the story has to be while having some kind of plot. It's in part a story relating to myself in my younger years (edgy teen going through Shoujo revelation and growing pains, the usual). Not really seeking success for this one really, as it originated as a venting story and decided to make into, well, just anything but angst revenge whatever-I-was-thinking-at-the-time. I was also considering about the 4-koma, as it would be the easiest project to output while not worry about story and simply a retelling of childhood experiences. However, many of the ideas are something my husband and I have thought of our time together up to today. I'm not sure if it's a go or no-go and, if is a-go, it will be excruciatingly limited to when we both have the time to work on it.
Let me know what you think I should do. There's not a lot I know about comic platforms, but I really do want to get at least one comic/manga out there!
